Being one of the “unicorns,” or Austin, Texas native, Mark Vallejo is very familiar with the city. His grandfather had a Cesar Chavez staple, “The Vallejo Club” at 2001 E Cesar Chavez Street, where his father learned the meaning of hard work, cleaning tables as a child. As a child growing up, he would accompany his father during work hours, sitting in the back seat of his truck, meeting many Austin natives who made up East Austin.

After graduating from Akins High School in 2015, Vallejo attended Austin Community College for a year and got his first two jobs rolling burritos. After a year and a half, he knew he wanted to expand his horizons, learn something new and challenge himself by working for a marketing sales job in downtown Austin, then at a local credit union.

Being in a family of realtors, Vallejo knew he was always interested in real estate, but never had the opportunity to learn about the subject until he met Joshua Brunsmann at the front desk of his job at the credit union.

​

Making sure everything in the office is ran efficiently, Vallejo manages the “day to day” for 3rd Angle Realty. As time goes on, Vallejo has learned a lot and taken on more and more tasks his boss has thrown at him.

Vallejo is a driven, open minded young man who loves the city he was born and raised in. His hard work, organization, and dedication has never gone unnoticed in any of his occupations.

In his personal time, Vallejo enjoys spending time at the gym, kayaking, broadening his taste buds in the Austin food scene, surrounding himself in nature or being nose-deep in a good book.
